Many Americans are asking what they can do to show their support for servicemembers,
especially those serving overseas in this time of war.
Below are Web sites for several organizations that are sponsoring programs for members of the Armed Forces overseas. (This list originated from KTLA, Channel 5, Los Angeles, California. Also mentioned at KTLA's website is the fact that there are many scams, frauds and bogus sites trying to divert donations away from legitimate charitable organizations. The Celtic Lady's™ trusts that KTLA has researched the sites listed below.) 
The Gift of Groceries program helps meet the family needs of our Guard and Reserve troops fighting the war on terrorism. Donate a calling card to help keep servicemembers in touch with their families at Operation Uplink. 
Send a greeting via e-mailthrough Operation Dear Abby at  http://anyservicemember.navy.mil/ or http://www.operationdearabby.net/ Sign a virtual thank you card at the Defend America Website. Since March 17th, the newspaper "Stars and Stripes" has included a daily "Messages of Support" section giving family and friends of deployed service members a chance to pass along greetings, announcement, and words of encouragement. Such messages (LIMITED TO 50 WORDS OR LESS) will be printed on a first-come, first-run basis. UK Forces Gulf Fund The UK Forces Gulf Fund has been set up to provide welfare support to UK Service Personnel and accompanying civilians taking part in Operation Telic.
